Commitment: members commit to six months of monthly subscription fees ($25/month) and can cancel at any time after that. Subscription fees are credited to your account, and you can use your accumulated balance to purchase wines or other merchandise at any time, and to cover shipping fees. Membership will continue to renew automatically month-to-month unless you cancel.
Cancelation policy: membership may be canceled any time after the first six months (6 consecutive monthly fees charged). There is no cancelation fee. Accumulated membership fees are not refundable. Contact stems@marginaliawines.com to cancel.
Discount Rate: all wine purchases will be discounted 15% from the base price, whether or not your accumulated balance covers the transaction.
Preferential access to wines: Subscription tier members will have access to core release wines [2-3 wines per year] after patron tier allocations have been fulfilled, and will have two weeks of exclusive access before wines are made available to mailing list members and the general public. Similarly, if limited release wines remain available after the patron tier ordering window closes, subscription tier members will have a further week to order these wines before they are offered more widely.
Shipment: wines are shipped in the next temperature appropriate shipping window after purchase. We generally have to shut down shipping in the hottest Summer months and the coldest Winter months to protect against wine quality loss during transport. Free local delivery (Walla Walla area, WA state only) is available all year.
Payment processing: members consent to have their payment information stored by our contracted processor, WorldPay, and to be billed for monthly subscription fees on or near the first of each month.
Yearly cost: Minimum of $150 billed in 6 consecutive monthly increments of $25, on or near the first of each month for the first year. Membership and billing will continue until canceled by subscriber at a rate of $25/month. A full year of membership will total $300.
