Commitment: members commit to purchase of six bottles of each core release wine. There are generally three and never more than three core release wines per year. Membership renews automatically if you take no action to cancel.
Discount rate: all wine purchases, including your release allocations, will be discounted 25% from the base price.
Access to limited release wines: Patron-tier members will have first access to any limited release wines; there will be a one week ordering window before limited releases are offered more widely.
Cancelation policy: membership may be canceled any time after the first full year of membership (two shipments). To cancel your membership email stems@marginaliawines.com. There is no cancelation fee.
Shipment Frequency: Allocations are shipped twice per year, once during the spring shipping window and once during the Fall shipping window. These windows are weather-dependent, but we will generally ship April-May and Oct-Nov.
Payment processing: members consent to have their payment information stored by our contracted processor, WorldPay, and to be billed prior to shipping (two times yearly).
If free local delivery (Walla Walla area, WA state only) is selected as the delivery method, but no delivery has been arranged within two months of billing, member consents to being charged for shipping at standard rates.
Typical yearly cost: Cost per shipment will fluctuate depending on individual bottle cost and which wines are included in each release, but as of 2020/2021 the total yearly cost will be about $350 plus shipping, after discount. Generally, after the discount is applied, one shipment (one wine/6 bottles) will be $108-126 plus shipping and the other shipment (two wines/6 bottles each/12 bottles total) will be $225-243 plus shipping.
